Steven Ray Francis, 58, of Humble, TX died August 6, 2016. He was an 8th generation Texan and a 6th generation Humble. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Francis, grandparents Ray & Erma Francis and grandmother Ottie Bell Griffin. He is survived by Jon Ray; mother, Roberta Francis; brothers, David and Rob Francis and sisters, Robbie and Rene' Francis; much loved nephews and niece, Jeffrey, Jessica, Jess & Thomas Francis and a host of beloved family and friends. Steven is a 1976 graduate of Humble High School and attended Sul Ross State University and is a co-owner of Lee Insurance Agency. Steven spent much of his time at his beach house where he loved to entertain his family and friends. He also attended West Isle Presbyterian Church in Galveston, TX. Another favorite pastime was spending time at the ranch. Steven loved to travel and was blessed to have been to many countries as well as all 50 states. He was passionate about animals and has rescued many dogs and cats. He leaves behind Baxter, Tripod, Myrtle, Chloe, Snoops and Reaux who will all miss him. Steven also love children and was a great supporter to the Humble and Huffman FFA. But the joy of his life was his 3 nephews and niece whom he spoiled as if they were his own children. He was a caretaker to all who knew and loved him. He truly had a heart of gold and was a beautiful soul. Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kingwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Steven's name to the ASPCA.
