Eddie Wayne Bader

Wayne was born in Houston on 17 December 1929 and died in Houston on 9 August 2016 at the age of 86. His beloved parents were Eddie Bader of Galveston and Mabel (Chambers) Bader of Edna/Halletsville.
Wayne graduated from Austin High School and The University of Houston in 1953 where he received a Commission as 1st Lt. in the Army. He was a member of Houston's First Baptist church, but more importantly, he is a believer in God's word. He trusted in God's promise in Romans 10:9 that said: That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Wayne believed and is now in Heaven. If you believe, this promise can be yours also.
Wayne leaves his wife, Mary Angeles (Barrett) Bader; son, Brent Wayne Bader; grandson, Michael James Bader; grand-daughter, Jessica Lynn Bader and her son, Caleb Buell, and grand-son, William Trevor Storm Arthur.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10:30 am in The Chapel at Houston's First Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Jones presiding, 7401 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freewy, Houston,Texas 77079.
